Shenzhen, China, August 30, 2021 − GIGALIGHT’s today launched an 8-channel 400G QSFP56-DD passive direct-attached cable (PCC) assembly that supports 3m transmission, marking its successful return to the technology track of DAC products.

GIGALIGHT’s 400G QSFP-DD PCC is a portfolio of passive Direct Attach Copper (DAC) cables as high-speed, cost-effective alternatives to fiber optics in 400G Ethernet applications. The 400G QSFP-DD PCC cable contains 16 high-speed copper pairs, each operating at data rates of up to 53Gb/s. Each QSFP-DD port comprises an EEPROM providing product information, which can be read by the host system. GIGALIGHT’s unique quality Passive Copper Cable (PCC) solutions provide power-efficient connectivity for short-distance interconnects. They enable higher port bandwidth, density and configurability at a low cost and reduced power requirement in the data centers.
